Аспирантка 3-о года обучения кафедры логики философского факультета Мария Легейдо приняла участие в международной конференции PhDs in Logic с докладом на тему «Relevantized Intensional Semantics For Some Syllogistic Theories». Конференция проходила 8–10 сентября 2021 года в Берлине (Германия) и онлайн.
PhDs in Logic – это ежегодная международная научная конференция, в которой принимают участие аспиранты и магистры со всего мира, специализирующиеся по математической и философской логике и логике в компьютерных науках.
Аннотация доклада:
Two possible strategies toward constructing semantics for syllogistic theories are known in literature: extensional and intensional. The former is more customary while the latter received a lot of attention only recently. In this work we present a kind of intensional semantics for Venn’s and Vasiliev’s syllogistics. The distinctive feature if our approach is to close the interpretation of categorical statements under the notion of logical consequence from the logic of first-degree entailment.
